Because nothing takes hold,
I build a tiny box, fence it over
with wires and bells until I have
a new kind of robot that won’t
do my chores but will buzz
a little bit, and chime.

That ain’t no robot == that’s art
Thanks, Sabio!
My pleasure — it ’twas a fun write. I could see the funny, messy creation.
high tech, eh? smiles. makes me think though of childhood play and we always wanted to build a robot or a spaceship…and anything nearly resembling one was a wonderful thing…smiles.
I had a collection of wires and washers and stuff, and I always thought I could make something happen if I just put them together the right way.
..ooh.. quite intriguing to note… smiles…
Thanks, Kelvin!
Fun, indeed. I like to do collage and find myself amassing stuff like that to add texture. It does get interesting, heh?
Maybe someday, one of your collages will come to life!
Sounds like a wall clock. Fun fantasy, though.
I always say god works in mysterious ways, but if you were god would you work at all? Robots that do no useful work might be the NEXT step!
Thanks! Maybe my robot could be a companion for the elderly? And I’m intrigued by your god question.
sounds like our class in school called “science technique lab where we had to build something electronic and then a box over it

What did yours do?
sweet robot =)
Thanks! i kind of want one.
Phew, dead good! My pet robot says it sounds like the wind chime he made me. He made me? He didn’t – I made him, out of old pots and pans. Whatever you do, don’t plug it in (for too long).
Thanks, Andy. Your comment is a poem in itself. My robot salutes your robot.
